Gemma Townley is the author of When in Rome, Little White Lies and five other novels. A former journalist, she lives in London with her husband, three young children and a cat who moved in years ago and won't take no for an answer.

She lives in West London with her husband, Mark and their son.

She is Sophie Kinsella's sister.
