This is a short story starring Suri and Minna, two characters from the 'The Legends of the First Empire' series.

Suri goes through some pretty hard times throughout the course of the Legends series, and while she has grown considerably, people missed the innocent and feisty girl that we first met at the start of the books. For this reason, Michael J. Sullivan rolled back the clock and set this story to a time in Suri’s youth when she went on an adventure, made a discovery, and got in over her head. Of course, Minna, her ever present companion, was with her, so that helped things from going too badly.
