Dead Ends

Dead Ends
Suddenly, Frank Mueller has to solve a case he never thought he would become involved with. The crime had taken place in the ritziest parts of town, far, far removed from his precinct in the Strawberry Mansion ghetto.

Oddly enough, it is not Ernie who tips him off to the solution but, instead, someone from whom he never would have expected the help, unwanted as that help may have been. Ernie would be of no assistance in this situation, not because the two friends had again fallen out, but because Ernie had become blind in the way that there are none blinder.
