Despite precautions, the members of the Cottonwood Creek Country Club in New Mexico, can't prevent a renegade lightning bolt from claiming one more victim during an important golf tournament. Surely this tragic accident was an act of God, or so sidelined golfer Lee Ofsted thinks, until she discovers how many mortals wished the stricken man dead.
