Gwen Brady didn’t realize that by showing back up in her witchy hometown of Spell Haven, she was involving herself in yet another investigation of the magical variety. After all, she gave up that life a long time ago when she moved to the Human Realm to raise her daughter, Fiona-Leigh.
As it happens, Spell Haven’s Keeper of the Pages has been kidnapped along with the most powerful and dangerous spell book in the world—the one that he’s been sworn to protect. And Gwen knows she might be one of the only people who can help decipher the cryptic clues he’s left behind.
She isn’t sure she’s ready to put on her old Shadow Hand uniform so soon, and she’d much rather go for coffee with the cute new neighbor than go searching for clues… But she knows the book could fall into the wrong hands, and worse, an old friend’s life might hang in the balance.
