Even though they had a bumpy start, Amelia, Blake, and Seth are starting to get along and work together as a team. The fact that she hasn’t actually cheated on her Alpha husband and has nothing to feel guilty about, helps Amelia come to terms with the odd situation she’s in. Apparently, not only the future of Clan Sylfur is at stake, but also the future of the entire fox-shifter faction. The only way they can make the changes which need to be made is for Blake to become part of the Council, and she can’t accomplish that without Amelia’s help.
Meanwhile, Seth has reopened the investigation on the murder of Amelia’s parents. It doesn’t take long for him to realize he’s not going to like what he finds out, but he knows Amelia, the woman he’d die for, will like it even less. She is his soul mate, but will she still want to be part of the clan after she finds out the truth?
