The phone rang, and the young woman picked it up. "Hello, McFadden's Mechs. This is Victoria.
She listened to the man on the other end of the line.
"That's right, my name is Victoria. Soon to be Queen Bitch Victoria if you don't stop snorting testosterone before you call me."
Bobby looked up from the combat mech he had been tasked to work on and focused his attention on Vickie, who had leaned back in her office chair.
She propped her feet on the desk and pressed the phone to her ear.
It was going to be one of those days, Bobby thought.
The only person Niki might be more upset with is anyone who attacks her family. Now, she has one other person who ranks higher than Taylor on her shit list.
