Ginny "Jynx" Nix is loving life in San Diego. Great job, great boyfriend, amazing life, if you don't count the one incident she was in the hospital for, but other than that, perfect. Recovering from the accident changes her life a bit, but she's determined to continue and not let it slow her down.
All of it is altered when she receives a call from her best friend, telling her she has to come home, back to the small town she grew up in because her father had a heart attack.
Reeled back, she struggles to settle into the much slower pace of life and eventually comes to the realization that she has to move home on a permanent basis.
