Jareau Blade is perfectly content to stay in his labs and see what next discovery he can make. But when he finds a woman lying unconscious alongside the road, he has no idea how much his life is about to change.
She wakes in the hospital, her only clue to who she is a bracelet with the name Maia on it. Unsure of everything, she is confused by her attraction to a man who has blue tipped hair.
Jareau brings her to his home to recover, both physically and, hopefully, mentally. Suddenly, the man who has always preferred his experiments finds himself more and more distracted by this woman who isn’t swayed by his idiosyncrasies.
