Commander Tahsin has a royal-sized problem. Princess Myra has gone missing a month before she’s set to marry the child of the Iknas people’s oldest rival. While she’s promised him that she’ll be back in time for the wedding, Tahsin needs her to be here now for ceremonial events. He needs to find a stand-in princess or risk their people falling once more into war.
Lela Bauer’s acting career is in flames. Her latest holo film has bombed bigtime, her agent dropped her, and her ex-boyfriend is talking to the tabloids. What she needs is some time away from Earth where she can figure out what to do with her life.
When Lela applies to the Intergalactic Placement Agency, she’s surprised when Commander Tahsin offers her the role of fake princess. As he teaches her the ropes of what it means to be royalty, Lela wants nothing more than to put a smile on the grumpy commander’s face. Tahsin wants nothing more than to strip Lela naked and wipe the smile from hers.
