Tempest Crypt is focused on one thing: find her missing dad and bring him home. When her trip to Puzzlewood is interrupted by a demand from the angels that she investigates a demon slaying in the area, she resists. No way is she helping out those bumbling, feathery idiots again.

She wants him home, eating dinner around the table, making up for lost time, and helping her figure out why he vanished all those years ago.
Then she meets her dad, and he’s… different. And not in a good way. Nope, he’s rude, aggressive, and even has a new name. Worst of all, he doesn’t have a clue who she is. And when Tempest learns he knows the demon accused of murder, and is claiming to be his alibi, she has no choice but to investigate. If she doesn’t, she could lose him for good.
