Theatrical shenanigans are not really ex-Ministry of Witches detective, Elise Liddell’s thing, but an evening out with her ex-boss to see the mystical and flamboyant clairvoyant, Madame Majestique, has the potential to change her mind. Unfortunately, Madame Majestique has a doom-ridden date with destiny of her own that very night.
When the celebrity’s body is discovered, Elise teams up with her short-staffed MOWPD colleagues to investigate. What she uncovers is disturbing. Mysterious robed spectres committing murders? A secretive cult hidden away in the back alleys?
Malevolent monks are all in a day’s work for a detective in the shadowy realms of Tumble Town.
