Everyone loves an escape room.
Everyone except former homicide cop Jacqueline "Jack" Daniels.
Jack has endured a lot of stress in her life, and she doesn't want to be locked in a murder-themed carnival attraction, forced to solve puzzles to get out.
But her young daughter, Sam, really wants to try it. So Jack and her family and friends (Harry McGlade, Phineas Troutt, Herb Benedict) pay for tickets and give it a shot.
There's only one problem. This isn't an ordinary escape room. This one has lethal intentions.
Almost immediately, Jack and her crew aren't just fighting to escape.
They're fighting to stay alive.
