It was hate at first sight.
As a plant-loving homeowner, I take particular pride in my gardens. So, when I came home to find several of my flower beds trampled by my new next door neighbor, sparks flew.
And not in the sexy sort of way.
Jackson Reid was everything I hate in a man. He’s rude and overbearing — and did I mention he’s a lawyer?
He’s also a single dad and soon I began to see, behind all that arrogance, he’s also incredibly patient and caring. In fact, many of the things I hated about him melt away and I’m left, not just liking him.
I think I might be falling for him too.
But, like most adult relationships, we both came with a past and Jackson’s baggage may destroy more than our budding love affair if we’re not careful.
