Volt was finally mine—but now it’s over.
Out of thin air, he turned into the biggest jerk on the planet and treated me like I was nothing. His behavior went on for a week, without explanation, until the truth finally came out. He saw Mr. Davidson kiss me, and instead of giving me a chance to explain what happened, he lost his mind.
By the time the truth comes out, I already see Volt with new eyes. I see a version of him I don’t like, see how cold and cruel he can be. Despite our ironclad relationship, he didn’t trust me whatsoever, didn’t even give a chance to explain what really happened. He acted like a child—and I don’t want to be in a relationship with a child.
Volt finally wears me down, finally convinces me to give him another try. But then I introduce him to my childhood friend Sara…and I know there’s no coming back from this one.
