Lachlan Campbell has called it quits in Hollywood. He’s tired of the razzle-dazzle, fed up with making movies, and ready for the quiet life. Stolen as a child, he was adopted by a family who loved him, but his adoptive parents are gone now.
His sister Rory’s settled in Christmas Valley, and of all things, she’s found his birth parents. Lachlan decides the back of nowhere is exactly what he’s looking for, and it will give him an opportunity to get to know his birth parents.
He doesn’t expect to find the woman of his dreams there, especially since he didn’t even know he was looking for her. The problem is, Jossamyn Lamb isn’t the least bit impressed with Mr. Hollywood. Or at least, that’s what she keeps telling herself.
Lachlan didn’t get to be one of the highest-paid stars in Tinsel Town by sitting back and letting things happen. He’s bound and determined to convince Joss to marry him. Of course, he has a little help he doesn’t know about…two guardian angels, perched on the rooftop, matchmaking. They’ve got their orders and a deadline from the Big Guy. They have eight days, and if they don’t get Lachlan and Jossamyn together by New Year’s Eve, no wings!
