Spenser Pope is desperate. He’s been trying to have a relationship with Stevie Bell, the CFO of Fruitycakes, for a year with no luck. He needs help! He solicits his no-longer-bachelor friends for advice and what do they tell him? Kiss her!
Stevie had a bad first marriage. Her husband, and her sister Charley’s husband, were cheaters and died in a boating accident with their current flings. She doesn’t want another husband, but there’s something about Spense that curls her toes in a way they’ve never been curled before.
Spense knows how to pick a lock, but can he also unlock Stevie’s frozen heart by Christmas? Maybe…if he can figure out how to bypass the out-of-commission fireplace in the old family homestead so that Santa can deliver presents to Stevie’s triplets.
